UO Gateway is under threat by the Liberal Government of Canada.

Bill C-22 will force us to spy on our users and collect and store data for 1 year as well as open up a backdoor for government to access said data. We refuse to participate in this level of surveillance and police state, which may force us to shutdown to protect you and ourselves if this bill passes. Duckduckgo, Signal and NordVPN are among other organizations who may also shutdown in Canada.

Email your MP to urge them to stop this bill, and sign House of commons Petition E-7416.

As a backup plan we are considering incorporating in another country, but this could take time and lot of money.

The UO Project
Logon server: server.theuoproject.co.uk Port 2593
The UO Project exists to provide a server for everyone, that is run by everyone who plays. We offer and strive upon balanced PvM, PvP and RP. We feel that those who love one of the three should not be forced to be stuck on a server dedicated to just that, we are dedicated to all three. We have 10 years of UO playing and staffing experience. We are here to create One World for Every Player! We promise to provide a growing and ever expanding world. We have a 1000 skillcap and 225 statcap. We are a heavily Community Driven server, everyone in our community has a say in every development, like or dislike something - we will do our utmost best to make it better. We develop our server for YOU. We have no Trammel rules as we have moved Felucca rules onto all maps providing the best in both strong PvP and RP and remain Newbie Friendly. We have made a half-way point with Insurance too, to provide benefits to both PVP and PVM players. The UO Project: A World for Everyone. Enter it today.
